The film The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King – an adaptation of J.R.R.Tolkien book - had its premiere in the Czech Republic on 15th January 2004. It was attended by three quarters of a million viewers. A third Oscar was then awarded for the final song of the whole saga - Into the West – sang by the famous Annie Lennox.
"The wide range of music requires a symphony orchestra, mixed choir, boys' choir and instrumental and vocal soloists singing in Tolkien's literary languages but of course, also in English," explains the author. "My first music for the trilogy Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring, was the beginning of my journey into Tolkien's world and I will always have to this music and to experience itself very special relationship," added Shore. His storytelling show the full and creates the second plan to the story. Styles and instruments from around the world illustrate and characterize the individual elements of Tolkien's saga.
