The legendary musical Dracula continues to celebrate its thirtieth birthday and, thanks to the extraordinary interest of the audience, is adding another performance in the O2 arena in Prague. It will take place on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the day before the originally announced date, which is already almost sold out.

Interest in the annual tour is huge and most indoor performances are already almost full. The organizers therefore expect that the final part of the tour in the O2 arena in Prague will be one of the biggest theatrical events of next year. The musical Dracula has become one of the most outstanding musicals and the Prague performances will also have a symbolic dimension. Daniel Hůlka is saying goodbye to his lifelong role with this tour.

“I have been playing Dracula for thirty years and have performed around fifteen hundred times. But life goes on and I feel it is time to say goodbye for a while. I am moved by how strong emotions this work evokes even after three decades and I am extremely grateful that I can end it in the O2 arena,” says Daniel Hůlka.

The musical Dracula, from the creative workshop of Karel Svoboda, Zdeněk Borovec and Richard Hes, laid the foundations of Czech musicals and became a phenomenon for several generations. Since its premiere in 1995, it has been seen by almost two million viewers and is still one of the most successful Czech stage works of all time.

The annual indoor tour Dracula 30 Years will begin on January 17, 2026 in Brno and will visit eight cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia over the course of three weeks. The climax will be two performances in Prague’s O2 arena on February 11 and 12, 2026.

Audiences can look forward to an exceptional cast led by Daniel Hůlka, Monika Absolonová, Eva Burešová, Richard Genzer, Josef Vágner, Tomáš Trapel and other stars of the Czech musical scene.

“The musical Dracula was the first musical I ever acted in, and I still consider it a part of my life. After thirty years, it has lost none of its power,” adds Monika Absolonová.

The indoor tour of the musical Dracula is presented by Kultura pod hvězdami in cooperation with LL Production under license from the ProVox agency.
