ORGANISERS’ INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PUBLIC FOR THE “ISU WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WFSC 2026″ EVENT
The following Organisers’ Instructions to the Public for the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 Event (hereinafter referred to as the “Organisers’ Instructions” and “Event” or the “ISU WFSC 2026”), amend the current and effective Visiting Regulations of the O2arena and O2Universum in Prague (hereinafter referred to as the O2Arena and O2 Universum).
I.
General Provisions
- The following Organisers’ Instructions are issued by the Lessee, i.e., the Czech Figure Skating Association (Český krasobruslařský svaz z.s.), and the Czech Figure Skating, s.r.o., both having their registered office at Lihovarská 1060/12, Libeň, 190 00 Prague 9.
- The Organisers’ Instructions amend and specify the binding rules of conduct for all persons entering the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum during the ISU WFSC 2026, which will be held from 24 March 2026 to 29 March 2026 in Prague.
- The Organisers’ Instructions aim to amend the rules of safety, health and property protection, ensuring a pleasant sporting and social atmosphere in the O2 Arena and O2 By entering the O2 Arena and O2 Universum, each person agrees to the terms and conditions of the Organisers’ Instructions. The Parties to the Event Rental Agreement are responsible for making their employees and contractors involved in the performance of the Event Rental Agreement aware of these Organisers’ Instructions. For this purpose, the Parties to the Event Rental Agreement are entitled to pass on the following Organisers’ Instructions to such third parties.
- The Organising and Security Services, or, within their legal jurisdiction, the Police of the Czech Republic, the Customs Administration and the Prague Municipal Police, are entitled to supervise the observance and respect of the Organisers’ Instructions.
II.
Definition of Terms
- “O2 Arena”: the building that is part of the multifunctional hall at Českomoravská 2345/17a, 190 00 Prague, which is part of a wider complex in the building, House no. 2345.
- “O2 Universum”: the building that is part of the multifunctional hall at Českomoravská 2345/17, 190 00 Praha, forming part of the broader complex in the building, House no. 2345.
- “Operator”: The company Bestsport, a.s., with its registered office at Českomoravská 2345/17a, 190 00 Prague 9 Libeň, Company Reg. No. (IČO): 242 14 795, registered in the Commercial Register kept at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, File 17875.
- “Organiser”: Czech Figure Skating Association (Český krasobruslařský svaz z.s.), with registered office at Lihovarská 1060/12, Libeň, 190 00 Prague 9, Company Reg. No. (IČO): 629 37 839, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, file No. L 131.
- “Co-Organiser”: Czech Figure Skating, s.r.o., with registered office at Lihovarská 1060/12, Libeň, 190 00 Prague 9, Company Reg. No. (IČO): 04334434, registered in the Commercial Register kept at the Municipal Court in Prague under file No.: C 246058.
- “Organiser’s Instructions to the Public (Organiser’s Instructions)“: This document, issued by the Organiser and the Co-Organiser, details the specific conduct of the Visitor in and around the premises of the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum. Visitors will be allowed to read the Organisers’ Instructions before entering the O2 Arena and O2 Universum.
- “Event“: the ISU WFSC 2026 World Figure Skating Championships.
- “Event” or “Competition”: Individual competitions held within the Event.
- “Ticket“: A document (price ticket) entitling the Ticket holder to a single entry to the Event or a particular Occurrence of the Event, intended for one-time use.
- “Visitor (Ticket Holder, Public)“: The person(s) with a valid Ticket who have been granted access to the O2 Arena and O2
- “Authorised Person“: A person who, as designated by the Operator or as agreed between the Operator and the Organiser, carries out the instructions of the Operator or the Organisers in the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum and its surrounding area in connection with the Event and/or the operation of the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum; they shall be clearly identified (by a uniform, vest, accreditation); such personnel may encounter guards, organisational and event management services, security guards, paramedics, firefighters, anti-smoking patrols, etc. ISU WFSC 2026.
III.
Entrance to the O2 Arena and O2 Universum
Anyone entering the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum is unconditionally obliged to respect the division and regime of the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum according to the access restrictions and controls.
- Visitors shall enter the O2 Arena by two entrances no earlier than 60 minutes before the start of the Event:
- (a) Using the North and South entrance on the 1st floor from Ocelářská Street, from the Českomoravská metro station, and tram stops from Sokolovská and Českomoravská Streets. These public entrances to the O2 Arena are duly marked and secured by the Organiser with turnstiles and gates for disabled persons with barrier-free access; the movement of disabled persons in the O2 Arena is regulated in detail by the “Operating Rules – for disabled citizens”.
- (b) Holders of a publicly available VIP GOLDEN LOUNGE ticket shall enter the Event through O2 Universum entry No. 2.
- (c) Stay and entry to the Arena are conditional upon holding a valid Ticket for a particular Event Occurrence.
- Anyone entering the O2 Arena and the O2 Universum must undergo an entry check carried out by technical detection equipment (passage through a metal detection frame, hand-held metal detector). If objects and luggage are brought in, they must be checked by passing through the X-ray metal and explosives detector.
IV.
Ban on Bringing in Dangerous Goods, Prohibited Activities
- It is forbidden to bring into the O2 Arena and O2 Universum the following items:

- Alcohol,
- Food and beverages (except for documented medical reasons),
- Bottles, containers of any kind (glass or PET bottles, cans, jars, etc.),
- Pressurised objects,
- Glass or glass objects,
- Drugs, toxic and narcotic substances,
- Explosive substances (explosives, explosive blasting agents and explosive combustibles),
- Combustibles, including pyrotechnics,
- Perfumes, with a volume exceeding 100 ml,
- Hair sprays or spray deodorants, with a volume exceeding 100 ml,
- Oversized luggage (larger than 30 x 20 x 15 cm),
- Weapons (stabbing, cutting, firearms, etc.), scissors,
- Poles (e.g. selfie sticks, handles, flagpoles, etc.),
- Objects with a laser beam,
- Drones,
- Unworn clothing,
- Laptops, tablets, any type of devices used to record data, image and sound, excluding personal mobile phones (unless otherwise specified by the Organiser, including major restrictions beyond the Visiting Regulations),
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses (only small pocket cameras are allowed),
- Binoculars (except binoculars and theatre eyepieces up to 15 cm in length),
- Umbrellas (except folding umbrellas in case of rain),
- Prams (including ‘golf clubs’),
- Bicycles, scooters (etc., means of transport or sports equipment and utensils),
- Ambush marketing products,
- political and advertising materials (advertising materials may only be brought into the VIP area with the prior consent of the operator and the organiser)
- Other dangerous items that could cause damage to health or property, both to the O2 Arena, O2 Universum, the Event Organiser or other visitors, such as tools, handcuffs, scissors, chains, etc. The O2 Arena and O2 Universum Operator, or the Event Organiser, have the right to decide on the danger of individual items. Specific items such as sirens, flags (without flagpoles), banners, torches, flashlights, bullhorns, trumpets and other wind instruments, crutches, sticks, drums and mallets, wheelchairs, etc., must undergo special checks.
- Visitors cannot take photographs or videos on devices in the auditorium during the Event program.
- Smoking is prohibited in all areas inside the O2 Arena and O2 Universum.
- Items that will not be permitted to be brought into the O2 Arena and O2 Universum area may be deposited in one of the deposit boxes outside the north entrances to the O2 Arena or outside the entrances to the O2 Deposit of the item is subject to the depository’s operating rules. In justified cases, the Organiser may refuse to deposit items for security reasons.
V.
Operation of Refreshments and Partner Activities
The Refreshment and/or Partner Activity Operator shall cease selling Refreshments and Partner Activities during the Event no later than 30 minutes before the end of each Event (Competition). This policy excludes only the VIP GOLDEN LOUNGE in the O2 Universum.
VI.
Disabled Persons Using Wheelchairs and Accompanying Personnel (1 + 1)
To reach the turnstiles, disabled persons in wheelchairs and one accompanying person can use the corridors at the North Entrance – Nos. 4, 7 (entrances on the sides) and the South Entrance – Nos. 22, 24. Disabled persons in wheelchairs have tickets for specially designated wheelchair-accessible areas.
VII.
Tickets
- Ticket holders must always wear the Ticket during their stay in the O2 Arena and O2 Universum and present it for inspection upon the Organiser’s request. The Ticket is valid only for the specified day, time, Event Occurrence, venue and seat. It entitles you to one entry to the O2 Arena and O2 It expires upon leaving the O2 Arena and O2 Universum.
- Tickets for the Event are sold exclusively by the official resellers, Ticketmaster and Ticketportal. If a ticket is purchased from other sellers (including resale from third parties), the Organiser is not responsible for its authenticity and validity, including the risk of not being admitted to the O2 Arena and O2 The sale of tickets from official partners is subject to their terms and conditions, available on their websites https://www.ticketmaster.cz/ and https://www.ticketportal.cz/.
- The ticket is a valuable commodity, and its forgery or alteration is prohibited.
- The Organiser reserves the right to invalidate tickets without a refund if the Tickets have been proven to be forged, tampered with, resold, or offered for sale.
VIII.
Club Floor
The Club Floor is only accessible to persons with a Ticket for that floor 60 minutes before the start of the first Competition of each competition day. All guests are required to leave the premises of the O2 Arena after the end of the Competition (Event). This provision shall not apply to persons performing work duties.
IX.
Skybox
Access to the Sky Box Floor is strictly limited to persons possessing a valid Sky Box Ticket, 60 minutes before the commencement of the initial game of each game day. All guests must leave the O2 Arena after the Event’s conclusion. The provision shall not apply to persons performing work duties.
X.
VIP GOLDEN LOUNGE
The venue is a public VIP area for VIP spectators located in the O2 Universum – Pub By Staropramen. Access to this area is granted to persons with a valid ticket for the Event, which must be exchanged at the entrance (O2 Universum entrance No. 2) for a coloured identification badge. This badge is only valid for the Event and entitles the holder to move around the Event. Alternatively, access is granted to persons with the appropriate accreditation, as indicated by the zone marking at the entrance to the VIP area. Access to the VIP GOLDEN LOUNGE from the auditorium area is granted only to those in possession of a valid identification belt (not with tickets). All guests are required to leave the O2 Arena and O2 Universum after the Event.
XI.
Final Provisions
- In justified cases, the Organiser reserves the right to amend or supplement the Organiser’s Instructions no later than their effective date.
- These Organisers’ Instructions for the ISU WFSC 2026 event shall come into force on 26 May 2025, become effective on 24 March 2026 and expire on 29 March 2026.
From March 24 to 29, 2026, the world’s top male and female figure skaters will compete for medals at Prague’s O2 arena.
The championships kick off on Tuesday, 24 March with official practices.
“We’ve prepared a schedule that appeals to both international and local audiences, especially emphasizing strongest category of Czech figure skating recently,” said Stanislav Židek, President of the Czech Figure Skating Association. The competition begins on Wednesday with short programs for women and pairs.
Men take the ice on Thursday, and ice dance category—including two Czech teams—debut on Friday.
The first medals will be awarded in the pairs after their free skating on Thursday evening (from 18:15 local time). The top 24 women will compete for medals on Friday at 18:00. “The most exciting part for Czech fans, comes at the very end. The men – free skating — figure skating’s most-world-watched discipline — starts at 12:30 on Saturday, followed by the „grand finale“: ice dance, traditionally Czech strongest category,” said Židek. On Sunday, the event concludes with the fan-favorite Exhibition of Champions. “We believe the schedule has been designed to be attractive, and we hope our athletes will delight the audience in the O2 arena with strong performances,” concludes the President of the Czech Figure Skating Assocition.
Tickets are available in five price categories from Ticketportal and Ticketmaster, with prices starting from 790 CZK for Short Program and 1,290 CZK for the Free Skating. Up to six tickets for single-sessions and four all-event tickets can be purchased in one transaction (Ticketportal) and up to six tickets for single-sessions (Ticketmaster).
