From March 24 to 29, 2026, the world’s top male and female figure skaters will compete for medals at Prague’s O2 arena. Ticket sales will start on Thursday, 29 May at 10 a.m. CET. Those who have registered will be able to buy tickets three days earlier, on Monday, 26 May at 10 a.m. CET.
The championships kick off on Tuesday, 24 March with official practices.
“We’ve prepared a schedule that appeals to both international and local audiences, especially emphasizing strongest category of Czech figure skating recently,” said Stanislav Židek, President of the Czech Figure Skating Association. The competition begins on Wednesday with short programs for women and pairs.
Men take the ice on Thursday, and ice dance category—including two Czech teams—debut on Friday.
The first medals will be awarded in the pairs after their free skating on Thursday evening (from 18:15 local time). The top 24 women will compete for medals on Friday at 18:00. “The most exciting part for Czech fans, comes at the very end. The men – free skating — figure skating’s most-world-watched discipline — starts at 12:30 on Saturday, followed by the „grand finale“: ice dance, traditionally Czech strongest category,” said Židek. On Sunday, the event concludes with the fan-favorite Exhibition of Champions. “We believe the schedule has been designed to be attractive, and we hope our athletes will delight the audience in the O2 arena with strong performances,” concludes the President of the Czech Figure Skating Assocition.
