GC Playoffs will return to Prague in two years. Tickets are on sale now
The sixth annual Global Champions Prague Playoffs gala show has once again surpassed the previous ones in terms of attendance. The organizers from the Czech Equestrian Team want to maintain this trend in the future, and have already started selling tickets for 2027.
When the GC Prague Playoffs was first held in the O2 arena in Libeň in December 2018, no one from the organizing team had any idea how strong a brand was being created. Year after year, the number of spectators increased, until in 2025 it exceeded the mark of 40,000 tickets sold.
“This is a huge reward for the efforts we put into preparing this event. At the same time, it is a commitment to make the next Prague Playoffs even better than the last one and to keep people coming back. The fact that thousands of horse and show jumping fans like to come back to our event is also proven by the fact that they buy tickets well in advance. After all, the best seats are often taken shortly after the sale starts. Tickets for the LGCT Super Grand Prix or GCL Super Cup are popular gifts for birthdays, holidays or under the Christmas tree, and for this very reason we are starting pre-sale now,” said Jan Andrlík, head of the Czech Equestrian Team organizing committee, on Sunday.
The Global Champions Prague Playoffs world show jumping gala will return to the Czech capital from November 18 to 21, 2027, as in the 2026 season, Prague will be replaced by Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after two years. “The key points of the program should remain unchanged, so on Thursday we expect the quarter-finals of the Global Champions League Super Cup, on Friday the semi-finals will follow and on Sunday the final. Saturday evening will then, as always, be marked by the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix,” Jan Andrlík specified.
Ticket prices are set similarly to this year. “The cheapest ones start at 390 crowns, discounted packages for all four days start at just under two thousand crowns.
