Marika Gombitová will celebrate on a Czech-Slovak tour. And she will also visit Prague’s O2 arena
Legendary singer and composer Marika Gombitová has had a great Christmas concert, which she performed in front of a sold-out Peugeot arena in Bratislava. At the end of the concert, she gave another gift to her enthusiastic fans. She announced that she will embark on a grand Czech-Slovak tour in the fall of 2026.
2026 will be a jubilee year for Marika. She will celebrate her life anniversary and at the same time commemorate 50 years on stage. And on this occasion, she has prepared a concert tour for her fans called MARIKA 70 Birthday Concert. The concerts will take place in three cities – the tour will start on September 26 at the Handball Arena in Prešov, continue on October 10 at the O2 arena in Prague and culminate on November 7 at the TIPOS arena in Bratislava.
“Being on stage and singing for my beloved audience is one of the most beautiful feelings I can experience in my life. So I thought that the best thing I could do in 2026, in which I have several anniversaries ahead of me, is to meet my beloved fans to a greater extent. And so my team and I started preparing a Czech-Slovak tour. The choice of cities is not at all random – I started in eastern Slovakia, and that is why I am very happy that we will start this tour with a concert in my native region. We will continue in Prague to please my Czech fans, and the final concert will take place in Bratislava, where I spent most of my career,” said Marika Gombitová about the upcoming concert tour.
Marika has celebrations ahead of her next year, and she wants to prepare herself thoroughly for demanding concerts.
“Of course, I will sing my biggest hits and the latest songs, but we will try to put together the playlist so that there are more surprises in it. I will announce them gradually over the next year, along with the names of the guests I would like to invite to the concerts,” added Marika.
