Michal David will celebrate his milestone birthday with a spectacular show at the O2 arena and, due to overwhelming demand, is adding a second concert on June 14, 2025.
Music that spans generations. Michal David (64), Czech music legend, composer, hitmaker, producer, and singer, is turning 65 this year, and to celebrate, he’s prepared an unforgettable show at the O2 arena Prague. Come and join him in reliving the greatest melodies of his career, singing along to both beloved classics and new songs, and enjoying an evening full of nostalgia, emotions, and cherished memories.
“I’m happy there’s such strong interest in my second concert at the O2 arena. We added the Saturday date because many fans told me the Friday show wasn’t doable for them due to work commitments. The second concert will also be different in that the area around the stage will be seated. Generally, my fans prefer those spots, so I hope this will make them happy,” Michal David adds with a smile.
This year’s concerts will take on a completely new format compared to his previous shows – most notably with the stage placed in the center of the arena. Combined with a stunning light show, fans can expect a truly spectacular and unforgettable night.
Another change from his past O2 arena performances is that this two-hour concert will feature just a few select guests. One of them will be rapper ARPI, who created a remake of David’s hit Zabitej čas. Also taking the stage will be Sebastian David, Michal’s grandson, who excels at guitar and ukulele. Other special guests will be gradually revealed in the lead-up to the concerts. Michal David will be backed by his band KVATRO, well known to fans from previous shows.
“It’s going to be one big party, as is already tradition at my O2 arena concerts. I’m really excited about performing on a stage in the middle of the arena – this will be a first for me in the Czech Republic’s largest venue. You can also look forward to a spectacular light and audiovisual show that will accompany the entire performance. It will be different in every way. And I truly believe we’ll all enjoy it together,” promises Michal David.
Concerts will take place on June 13 and 14, 2025.
