The 2026 ISU World Figure Skating Championships are here! Fans, travel to the O2 Arena by public transport

march 23, 2026

We appeal to all visitors: choose public transport and avoid driving to the O2 Arena. This will help ensure the smooth running of the entire event and comfort for all fans.

A great emphasis is placed on safety and organization. The organizers are cooperating with security forces, the capital city of Prague and the Prague 9 district to make the entire championship as comfortable as possible for visitors and residents of the city.

What is the best way to get to the O2 arena?

  • Metro B – Českomoravská station (open since March 20)
  • Tram – Arena Libeň jih or Divadlo Gong stops
  • Train – Praha-Libeň or Praha-Vysočany stations
  • Car – use the P+R parking lot (especially Černý Most recommended) and continue by public transport

Parking capacities around the O2 arena will be significantly limited during the championship.

Tip for convenient entry to the hall

The doors open one hour before training and 45 minutes before the start of the competitions. For faster passage through security, we recommend leaving bulky luggage in the storage rooms at the arena and arriving well in advance.
The World Figure Skating Championships are returning to Prague after 33 years and promise not only top-notch sporting performances, but also an extraordinary atmosphere.
Follow the latest information and plan your trip in time so that you can fully enjoy every moment on the ice and in the audience.
