O2 arena Opens Its Backstage for School Trips

Looking for an original school trip idea that will truly excite your students? Come explore the largest multifunctional indoor arena in the Czech Republic! O₂ arena has prepared special guided tours for schools for the end of the school year. Take a peek with us into areas normally hidden from regular visitors and discover how the backstage operates for global stars.   O₂ arena is a bit like a small city within a city. In just a few short hours, we can transform the ice rink into a sold-out concert stage or a floorball court. Do you want to know how this complex organism works in practice?

During the approximately 2-hour tour, we will take your class on a unique journey from the basement all the way up to the most exclusive floors. Our routes are full of technical curiosities and surprises.   What can you look forward to during the tour?

Athletes’ and Stars’ Backstage: You will look directly into the HC Sparta Praha locker rooms and uncover the secrets of the so-called Stars rooms, where the biggest performers prepare for their shows.

Arena Control Room: You will get a behind-the-scenes look at how video, audio, and the giant multimedia cube are directed during events.

VIP Areas and Design Gems: You will walk through the luxurious Club and Skybox floors, visit the exclusive Skyclub 777, and you definitely won’t miss the architecturally unique Floral Corridor.   Details of the special school offer:

Date: Tuesday, June 23, 2026

Available times: 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00

Tour duration: approx. 120–150 minutes (the meeting point is in front of Entrance No. 11, always 15 minutes before the start of the tour)

Capacity: Ideal for groups of around 40 people (two experienced guides will lead your tour)

Discounted student price: 290 CZK

Recommendations: Since the tour spans several floors of the arena, we highly recommend comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear. Due to capacity reasons, a cloakroom is not available, so please leave larger luggage at home. Taking photos on mobile phones is warmly welcomed throughout the entire route! Each tour may vary depending on the current setup of the arena.   How to book your tour? Given that we are offering only four time slots, the capacity for this day is strictly limited.
