O2 arena and O2 universum use the new Evolv security screening system, allowing visitors to enter more quickly and smoothly while maintaining a high level of security.
There is no need to take common personal items such as your phone, keys or wallet out of your pockets. You can also walk through with a bag that does not exceed the maximum permitted size of 30 × 20 × 10 cm. Simply walk through at a normal pace. If the system indicates that additional screening is required, the security staff will guide you through the process.

Do I need to take out my phone, keys or wallet when passing through?
No. You can keep your phone, keys and wallet with you – in your pocket, handbag or other bag.
How should I walk through the security screening system?
Walk through at a normal pace without stopping. Families can walk through together. There is no need to keep your distance from others or form separate lines for individual screening lanes.
How does this security technology work?
The system uses advanced sensors and artificial intelligence. It can distinguish common personal belongings and focuses on detecting concealed prohibited items.
What happens if I am asked to undergo additional screening?
In some cases, the system may indicate that additional screening is required. Simply follow the instructions of the security staff.
Why was I selected for additional personal screening?
If the system is unable to clearly identify an item in your pocket, handbag or other bag as you pass through, it may alert the security staff that a brief additional check is required. This is simply to verify the item in question and will be carried out as quickly as possible, with your comfort in mind.
Can I enter with a handbag, backpack or other bag?
Yes. You may enter O2 arena and O2 universum with a bag that complies with the Visitor Rules and does not exceed the permitted dimensions of 30 × 20 × 10 cm. If your bag needs to be checked, the security staff will ask for your cooperation.
Can I pass through in a wheelchair?
Yes. The system is designed to allow visitors using wheelchairs or those with baby strollers to pass through comfortably.
Is the screening process faster than before?
Yes. The new system allows visitors to pass through more smoothly and helps significantly reduce waiting times at the entrances.
