The second year of the world’s largest show jumping event Global Champions Prague Playoffs at the end of November 2019 turned the Czech capital city into the center of showjumping world. The Prague Playoffs was dominated by Brit Ben Maher with Explosion W. as the winner of the individual Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, and the Shanghai Swans as champions of the Global Champions League Super Cup team competition. The Czech Republic was represented by Prague Lions team, which finished on the 7th place.

The finals of the prestigious Global Champions series were again extremely successful. “In four competition days, we welcomed approximately 30,000 spectators at O2 arena, who enjoyed both extraordinary sports performances and a rich accompanying program. I admit that we were nervous before the event whether we could fulfil high expectations, but according to the first feedback we succeeded. We prepared the event even more interesting for spectators and more comfortable for riders and horses, ”said Jan Andrlík, chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Global Champions Prague Playoffs.

The top show jumping competition connected two complexes – the O2 arena and the O2 universum – for the first time while the main arena was located in the O2 arena and in the O2 universum fans could watch the riders during the final preparation and training sessions. “The warm up area with dimensions of thirty by sixty meters is really above standard for indoor races, which the riders appreciated the most. They were all surprised and pleased to see that many fans came to watch them during trainings. It was a great experience for all, ”Andrlík added.

The Prague Playoffs will take place in the O2 arena for the third time next year – on November 19 – 22, 2020. Galashow tickets will be available for sale on Thursday, December 10, at Ticketmaster and Ticketportal. “With the date of sale, we decided to meet the fans and start selling in December. I believe that for many show jumping fans, the Prague Playoffs ticket will be a good Christmas gift tip, ”says Jan Andrlík.

Daily ticket prices start at CZK 290 for tickets to the 4th floor. Ticket prices of the 1st category, that means to the 1st floor of O2 arena, range from CZK 390.  On Thursday and Friday program 50% discount on admission for children up to 140 cm is prepared.

The all-event packages are available so that showjumping enthusiasts can enjoy all four competition days. Prices for four day packages start at CZK 1490. “The package includes tickets for all four days, which are transferable, so the buyer can enjoy the entire four day program himself, or also can share the tickets with family or friends. The package of tickets to the 1st floor is even more affordable and costs only 5,990 CZK ”said Andrlík.

The organizers prepared an offer of VIP tickets, tickets to Partyboxes or seats at tables on the Club Floor as well. A package ticket holders will gain the best places in the given sector always closer to the arena and preferential entry to the O2 arena.

Horse and art show will be prepared for Prague Playoffs 2020 again. “We welcomed a lot of stars in the first two years. For the third year we have again addressed a number of Czech and foreign artists and athletes and we will certainly prepare an extraordinary show for the audience, ”says Andrlík. “I can already confirm that fans will have one big surprise in the form of a world horse superstar that will have premiere at the Prague Playoffs in the Czech Republic.”
